IDF Metale sells investment gold and silver bars and bullion coins exclusively from LBMA-accredited refiners, with prices calculated from live spot quotations, a buyback guarantee and insured delivery. You can buy online or at our branches in Katowice, Warsaw and Kraków. The online shop and product pages are in Polish.
Who we are
The IDF group has been active in financial services since 2005 and in precious metals since 2010. The shop is run by IDFMETALE Prosta Spółka Akcyjna, Katowice — KRS 0000921233, NIP 9542830777, REGON 389922040 — entered in the currency exchange register of the National Bank of Poland under no. 18767/2022 (register entry).
What we sell
- Gold bars from 0.5 g to 1 kg — Argor-Heraeus, C.Hafner, Valcambi, PAMP, Metalor and other LBMA refiners.
- Gold bullion coins — Krugerrand, Maple Leaf, Vienna Philharmonic, Britannia, Kangaroo, American Eagle.
- Silver — silver bars and 1 oz bullion coins; silver without VAT delivered to a Loomis vault in Switzerland.
Current prices: gold price and silver price (PLN per ounce and per gram, with EUR and USD values), and a machine-readable price feed (JSON) with sell and buyback prices for the whole catalogue.
Delivery and payment
In Poland we ship with Pocztex courier, insured to the full value of the order (PLN 15 + 0.1% of the order value), or you collect the order free of charge at a branch. Orders from outside Poland are shipped by an insured international courier within Europe. You can pay by bank transfer in PLN, EUR, USD or GBP, online (BLIK, pay-by-link, cards via paynow) or in cash at a branch up to PLN 60,000.

- Popular bullion coins, gold and silver — Krugerrand, Britannia, Vienna Philharmonic, Maple Leaf, Kangaroo — as well as popular silver bars.
- Collector coins and numismatic products — valued individually after inspection.
- Jewellery and scrap gold — larger quantities only, from 1 kg, after prior contact with a branch.

Is IDF Metale a legitimate precious metals dealer?
Yes. The shop is run by IDFMETALE Prosta Spółka Akcyjna, Katowice (KRS 0000921233, NIP 9542830777, REGON 389922040), entered in the currency exchange register kept by the National Bank of Poland under no. 18767/2022. As a precious metals dealer it is an obliged institution under Polish anti-money-laundering law.
How are prices set?
Prices are calculated from live spot quotations and refreshed about every 12 minutes. The amount shown when you place the order is binding and does not change afterwards, whatever the market does.
Do I pay VAT on gold and silver?
Investment gold is exempt from VAT. Silver bullion is subject to 23% Polish VAT; the exception is silver delivered to a Loomis vault in Switzerland, which is sold without VAT (large orders).
Can I pay in euro, US dollars or pounds?
Yes. Bank transfers are accepted in PLN, EUR, USD and GBP — you choose the currency in the shop and receive the account details for it. Online payments (BLIK, pay-by-link, cards) are handled by paynow (mElements S.A.). Cash is accepted at branches up to PLN 60,000, in line with AML limits.
Can I return bullion?
Investment bars and bullion coins are goods whose price depends on market fluctuations, so under Art. 38(2) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act they are excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal. Collector coins and accessories can be returned within 14 days.
Will you buy the metal back?
Yes, at all three branches on the same rules. Products bought from IDF Metale are covered by a buyback guarantee at the buyback price on the day of the transaction; the current buyback price list is published on the website.
